Chris Robertson
Director of General Education Advising
Mr. Chris Robertson is the Director of General Education Advising under the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE). His career began in banking. Robertson has also worked as a classroom instructor and a behavior manager in an education setting. Other work experiences also included being a sales representative for a major consumer goods company and a salesperson in retail. His education experience also includes a director of admissions and a director of retention positions.
Robertson's educational background includes a B. S. degree in Secondary Education and an M.A. degree in Counseling and Guidance. He has taken developmental skills courses in Lessons in Leadership, District Manager Strategy, Risk Taking and Open Communication, Presentation Skills, Managing People in a Changing Environment, You and Your Customer, and Introduction to Sales Management.
Memberships and community involvement include The Optimist Club, Omicron Delta Kappa, former Creative Montessori School Board of Director and Miles Chapel CME Church officer and choir member.
