About the Women's Business Center

In 1988, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) established the Women’s Business Center Program to better help women overcome continuing barriers to success. These centers, SBA district offices, and other SBA resource partners at thousands of locations nationwide help women entrepreneurs start and grow successful businesses.

The Miles College Women's Business Center was established in November 2022 as a premier project of the Miles College Center for Economic and Social Justice. Through a grant made possible by the US Small Business Administration, the Miles College Women's Business Center intends to serve as a stable support structure that widens the pathway for women to entrepreneurship.
