Tau Beta Sigma National Band Sorority is for women college and university band members. The purpose of Tau Beta Sigma is to provide leadership, service, support, and to the band director and the sponsoring institution.
Tau Beta Sigma provides for the student: An opportunity to serve the band in a special way; Experience in leadership, organization, and cooperation for a common cause; and An opportunity to develop life long friendships through music: (1) A social experience with wholesome fun and fellowship; and an opportunity to be a part of an organized NATIONAL effort that promotes college bands.
Tau Beta Sigma is open to the women of Miles College Band who are academically qualified (2.2 GPA); who possess qualities of leadership, achievement, musicianship; and who possess appreciation of the best in music.
