What test scores do I have to submit?

Yes, Miles College sponsors a number of extracurricular student activities and organizations across several fields of interest and concern — Student Government Association, fraternities and sororities, clubs associated with professional or artistic interests, publications, and religious organizations. ELIGIBILITY. In order to participate in a College sponsored social activity, a student must maintain a minimum 2.3 cumulative grade point average.
Based upon my test scores, I have to take developmental courses. What are developmental courses?
Developmental courses provide opportunities for students who may lack the academic skills to succeed in the college environment. These courses will improve your basic skills in Reading, Math, and Writing. You must pass each course you are enrolled in with a minimum grade of C. Any course failed must be repeated the next semester until passed. Grades and hours received from developmental courses will not be computed for graduation purposes in the cumulative GPA. This means that somewhere in your planned enrollment, you will need to make up those hours in summer school or in additional hours per semester.
Miles College is a Division II school. We participate in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. We have football, baseball, softball, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men and women’s track and cross country. We are 2012 SIAC Champions in Football and Softball.

Do you have payment plans?
Yes, All accounts are due and payable at registration. However, upon request, a payment plan is available for those persons unable to make full payment at the required time. Payment for at least one- half of the cost of attendance is required either before or at the time of registration. Three payments (one-third installments) must be paid during the next three succeeding months of the semester.

Since we are a private college, we have one set tuition fee - the same whether you're an Alabama resident or not.

Who helps me choose my courses?
Each student is assigned an advisor as a freshman; that advisor counsels you on course selection.

How many hours do you have to take per semester?
The normal course load is 15 to 18 credit hours per semester. An undergraduate student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours in order to be considered a full-time student.
