Miles College –(Division of Humanities)
English Instructor– Must have Masters Degree in English, Ph.D. preferred, college teaching experience and a demonstrated commitment to the ideals of a liberal arts education. Candidate with experience in computer and internet-assisted instruction will be given preference.
Religion Instructor: Must have a Masters Degree in Theology or related area, Ph.D. preferred. Courses include Survey of World Religions and a possible honors or specialty course in the minor.
Music/Music Education Instructor: Assistant Professor of Music/Associate Director of Choral Activities – A Masters Degree required for application; doctorate required for tenure; College experience preferred. Demonstrated success as a choral conductor at the high school and/or college level; demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to teach in secondary areas in classroom setting; enthusiasm for and demonstrated ability and success in recruitment of students.
Spanish Instructor – Must have a Masters Degree in Spanish and provide beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish language instructions.
Theatre Arts Instructor: Faculty position/Acting Teacher – Must have a Master of Fine Arts in acting, college teaching and professional experience to teach different levels of acting and related courses.
