Duties: Use statistical knowledge and skills for application of statistical packages such as SPSS and/or SAS to conduct analysis. Coordinate data collection, organization and analysis for publications and grant applications. Accurately extract, organize, verify, summarize and archive data for the College in support of the Office's longitudinal trend analyses, fact sheets, and other institutional data needs. Ensure that information is available, accurate and updated in a timely manner. Assist with the development of multi-year archives of institutional and survey data. Prepare, update and expand the collection of comparative data and peer indicators. Conduct and aid in collection and analysis of research and data for internal and external agencies such as College units and Federal, State, NCAA and other reporting. Respond to ad-hoc requests for institutional data or policies; internally or from external individuals or organizations. Maintain office files and provide office administrative support as needed. Provide strong quantitative and computer skills, databases and presentation graphics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize, analyze and summarize data and information for multiple audiences. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with diverse constituencies and contribute to a team-based environment. Ability to handle confidential materials discreetly and professionally on a routine basis. Excellent time management skills, ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workflow in order to meet deadlines.
Qualifications: A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Economics or Social Sciences and/or course work in statistics, research design/analysis, and/or experience in outcomes assessment, program evaluation, or institutional research. Background in research methods and quantitative statistics.
