Augustus James, Director
of Athletics at Miles College, has been named Chairman
of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
Directors Association. James was selected by the other
10 athletic directors in the SIAC for the two-year term. |
"I am very excited that
the torch has been passed to me as chair of the association,"
James said. "With the help of the other athletic directors,
I plan to continue the strong tradition of providing

Phillip Wallace, Jr. named Head Women’s
Basketball and Volleyball coach of the Lady Bears

Miles College has named Phillip Wallace, Jr. to lead
the Women’s Basketball and Volleyball programs
into the 2004-2005 season. He succeeds Kimberly Pooler,
whose contract was not renewed. MORE
