Miles College is authorized under federal law to enroll international students. These students are advised to inquire at least one year in advance of the anticipated date of admission about the tests required and the most convenient examination centers. To apply to Miles, international students must submit the following material by March 1 for the fall semester, August 1 for the spring semester, and February 1 for the summer session:

  1. An official copy of the high school and/or college transcript;
  2. An official score report of your ACT or SAT test results from the National Testing Center;
  3. The I-20 Form (Certificate of Eligibility) is not issued until the applicant has been accepted by the Office of Admissions. Miles College is authorized, under Federal Law, to require that all international students must pay an advance of one year’s tuition and fees, in U.S. dollars, in the form of a money order or a certified check made pay-able to the College. Cash should not be sent. It is also required that the sponsor should provide the College with an Affidavit of Financial Support and a current copy of his/her bank statement.

Once the Office of Admissions has received all of the necessary credentials, and the Business Office has received the advanced tuition and fees, an I-20 Form will be forwarded through certified mail.

Students who have been accepted at Miles are not assured housing. Those who wish to live in campus housing should write the Director of Housing, Miles College, Birmingham, Alabama 35208, U.S.A.

No scholarship and/or financial aid are available to international students.
